The 9’ Steinway D, which is found in most concert halls, is the pinnacle of piano evolution. The tone can be volcanic or ethereal; you think it and it does it. It can make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. It inspires you as you play.

You may think a 9′ concert piano is too big for your space. You are probably wrong. I sell more Steinway model D concert grands than any other size and almost all of them go into modest homes. As you can see in the photos of pianos belonging to some of my customers, they look beautiful in a variety of homes. Each of these pianos sounds wonderful in their new space.
